James Alfonso

Associate Financial Adviser

James and his wife, Amber, have three daughters, Karlee, Katelyn and Julia.  Amber teaches at Chapel Hill Christian Academy.  His family brings him the most joy.  He enjoys golf, Pittsburgh sports, and reengaging with his Clarksville roots.  He attends Real Life Sango Church.

James is native to Clarksville.  He graduated from Clarksville High School and Middle Tennessee State University. In 2023, his family moved back home after ten years of ministry and advancing their careers in Pittsburgh.

James’ journey.  He began his career in 2011 with UBS in Nashville, TN.  James built his foundation of knowledge about retirement planning by collaborating with UBS financial advisors and helping them find solutions for their clients.  He was promoted in 2013 to a Wealth Management team in Pittsburgh, PA.  In this role James met with clients, created their financial planning, and helped them put it in place.  His team moved to RBC Wealth Management in 2017, and James continued learning in his role and helping clients with their financial planning.

James joined Ellis & Company in April of 2024.  Ellis & Company’s purposes and culture drew him to our team.  He brings 14 years of experience in financial services.  He is excited about guiding our clients along their unique financial journey and bringing them the confidence they deserve.

James holds the Series 66 license.
