Forbes’ names Kathy Ellis, CFP® to Best-In-State Wealth Advisors 2021

Kathy Ellis has been named to the Forbes list of Best-In-State Wealth Advisors for 2021.

This is the second consecutive year Kathy has been selected to Forbes’ Best-in-State Wealth Advisors list. The list recognizes financial advisors from each state and was released online February 11, 2021.

“I’m very humbled. Forbes is such a prestigious organization. We could not accomplish this without the people who trust us with their financial planning. They are the reason we show up to work each day. It is our aim to help them retire confident.” Kathy said. Even when receiving recognition she is thinking of her clients first.

Her Journey

Kathy earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation in 2006.  It began in 1988 when Ed Sneed saw a bright future for her. Over the years Kathy worked hard and eventually became the owner of the business she and Ed built over 30 years. “Seeing people reach goals they didn’t believe were possible, is one of the best feelings. When you love what you do you never work a day in your life. I’m going to keep doing what I love.” In October Kathy celebrated her twenty first year with Raymond James.

It was important to Kathy that she give a special thank you to Eric Ellis, financial advisor Ellis & Company Retirement Strategists. “I am certain this recognition by Forbes wouldn’t have been possible with out Eric. His industry experience, knowledge, and vision has allowed me to be laser focused on understanding what is most important to our clients.”
